Living room colour advise needed!!?
I recently purchased a new rustic brown antique leather looking sofa and loveseat, made in microfibre fabric. I was thinking of going with a colour scheme including orange. I purchased some beautiful burnt orange curtains and was thinking on accenting with reds and golds. But now I am a little nervous because it is such bold colours. Anyone have any ideas on how I can use these colours without being to powerful or should I switch up the colour scheme?? Please help, I have a deadline of three weeks and I am confused.
A formula I've heard for decorating with color:
60% primary color, 30 % secondary color and 10% for accent color. Toss in some green plants--great
for relieving the brown, orange, red, gold as it is opposite on the color wheel--and you should be fine!
